What is ACLS Training? | ACLS Classes Cleveland Ohio

ALCS Classes Cleveland Ohio will teach the necessary steps to respond to emergency situations.  ACLS, or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, is a classroom course for healthcare providers aimed specifically for patients who have just experienced cardiac arrest. Additionally, ACLS training also covers medical team dynamics and communication.  All of our courses at Premier Health and Safety Academy are done in accordance with the American Heart Association’s (AHA) standards.  AHA is the leading provider of ACLS certifications and does a phenomenal job of keeping techniques current and thoroughly communicating new guidelines. Premier Health and Safety Academy are proud to offer AHA-Approved courses including CPR, AED, BLS, PALS, and ACLS.

Who Needs ACLS Certification?

Due to the nature of the ACLS certification, many medical professionals need to have their ACLS Certification.  Particularly, those who work in emergency units, critical care units, and facilities where cardiac emergencies are likely to occur such as a nursing home.  We commonly associate ACLS with nurses.  Why you might ask? RNs and LPNs work with cardiovascular patients daily and it is necessary that they receive the proper education in order to follow protocol.  Nurses, paramedics, and other medical professionals who often work as a first responder likely require an ACLS certification.
