The Paramedic program at Premier Health & Safety Academy is accredited by the State of Ohio. This program provides advanced-level training for the professional in the pre-hospital setting. Paramedics are trained in all phases of advanced life support including advanced airway procedures, intravenous and intraosseous infusions, needle thoracostomy, cricothyroidotomy, and advanced cardiac life support. We strive for student success in both didactic and clinical areas of the course. Those holding a Paramedic certification can obtain jobs in the fields of Emergency Medical Services, Firefighter Services, and Hospital technicians.

The Premier Health and Safety Academy/Loraine County Community College Consortium Paramedic program has a site visit scheduled for pursuing initial accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Educational Programs (COAAHEP) (www.caahep,org). This step in the process is neither a status of accreditation nor a guarantee that accreditation will be granted.
