Teaches students critical skills and knowledge needed to respond to and manage a first aid or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives.

01/31/2023 @ 9:00 am – 5:00 pm – This classroom, Instructor-led course uses a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics.
02/01/2023 @ 9:00 am – 5:00 pm – This refresher will be in session on the following days. 02/01/23 02/07/23 02/14/23 02/15/23 02/21/23 02/27/23 On day one of the EMS Refresher, you are expected to join us in person or via Zoom for orientation.
