Tina Brostek, BA, NRP, EMSI, Program Director

Tina Brostek is a National Registered Paramedic since 1992 and has been working in the field of EMS for 27 years. Her passion for the field of EMS inspired her to become an instructor and contribute to the ongoing development of EMS professionals.  Her decision was the beginning of a long and fulfilling journey which resulted in the creation of a State of Ohio Accredited training academy “LifeCare EMS Training Academy” which was founded in 2002 an obtained National Accreditation in 2012 and was recognized as one of the region’s leading EMS academies.

Tina’s educational achievements began at Lorain County Community College where she was awarded her Associate Degree of Applied Science for Justice Systems and continued her education through Cleveland State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Art degree in Public Safety and Management with her focus on Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Her strengths are demonstrated by her ability of planning, preparedness and inter-agency coordination and fiscal management skills as well as her knowledge in how to create and maintain a successful training facility. Her desire is to provide a wealth of knowledge to those who have chosen to save lives as their career.

Tina was employed for 27 years with LifeCare Ambulance in Elyria, Ohio where she began her career in EMS and transitioned in to the instructor role to open and run LifeCare EMS Training Academy.  In 2019 Tina joined Premier Health and Safety Academy as the Director of Education to lead in the creation of Premier Health & Safety Academy #1494.  Premier Health & Safety Academy will provide initial training for all levels of Emergency Medical Service as well as renewal training required for all EMS technicians.  All American Heart Association courses will be provided on a regular basis.
